Why We Developed This Pipe
SKI became one of the first companies in India to make PVC riser pipes with stainless steel ends for the India Mark 2, based on French technology. We add special additives to the pipe, so it resists breakage in most conditions.
In many places, the water is so corrosive that downhole gun-metal, mild-steel and cast-iron components corrode very quickly whenever they stay in contact with it. Therefore, we developed these pipes specifically for places like these.
Solving the Weak-End Problem
While standard PVC riser pipes work well in corrosive water, they tend to break at the ends under heavy load. To fix this, we developed a special PVC riser pipe with SS ends for the India Mark 2, as shown in the pictures above. As a result, these pipes offer much better value for money than metal pipes.
Dedicated Manufacturing
We run specialized equipment, personnel and factory space dedicated exclusively to these PVC pipes with SS ends. Consequently, their quality matches, and often exceeds, that of German and French counterparts.
